PINK OYSTER MUSHROOM is of the same genus as oyster mushroom, but grows naturally in tropical and subtropical climates on bamboo, rubber trees and palms. Despite its tropical origin, it has the great advantage of being able to colonise unpasteurised materials very quickly, before other (fungal) competitors. To do this, keep the pack in a slightly warmer place, such as a boiler room or bathroom, during the period of use.
