Code of conduct
The pink oyster is a tropical mushroom variety that grows naturally in warm and humid climates. It stands out for its intense pink fruiting bodies, which are quite rare in the mushroom world. The caps are about 5–15 cm in diameter and the stem is very short, giving it a particularly decorative appearance.
Taste and kitchen use
Pink oyster mushrooms have a slightly sweet taste and a meaty yet tender texture. They are perfect for vegetarian dishes, Asian wok dishes, and aromatic sauces and roasts. When fried, their color turns golden, but they still add a special character to your dishes.
Growing – simple and fun
Pink oyster mushrooms grow best at 18–30 °C and are one of the fastest fruiting varieties – you can get your first harvest in just about 10 days. The first harvest typically yields 300–500 g of mushrooms, and it’s possible to get 2–3 harvests throughout the entire growing cycle. Mushrooms are tastiest when freshly picked, but they can also be kept in the fridge for a few days.
Why choose our oyster mushroom grow kit?
The kit includes everything you need to enjoy fresh home-grown mushrooms: a grow box and a spray bottle. It offers the joy of your own harvest while also being a beautiful kitchen decor element and a great gift idea for foodies.
